It maybe coming to that, sadly.

I’m afraid that if the hoarding, and lockdown continue, some people will do crap like this. A LEO friend of my told me, that a guy who had his pickup full to the brim with cases of water was car jacked. They took his phone so he couldn’t call the police, and dropped him off in a rural area. There’s already civil disobedience in a few towns in Jersey.
Getting scaring out there.
Be careful folks.

The maker intended it to be funny. If it showed an actual robber showing off his stolen items, then yes, it wouldn’t be funny. By today’s movie standards, this is nothing compared to the violence and foul language that dominates the movie industry.
And he's complaining about the other guy?!
Shopping is definitely a problem. if you buy just half a dozen items, you'll be back at the store every couple of days. If you buy enough for two weeks, people will give you dirty looks, but you'll be out and about less. People spend too much time watching other people, looking for things to criticize.

Yup, and half of the time they interpret a situation incorrectly.
Maybe more than half...
I just came back from my local Walmart. They had paper towels, and TP, with a limit of one each per customer.
Luckily, I at the time I didn’t need any.
But, as I was walking towards my car the SUV parked next to me was being loaded by an senior, and possibly his grandson, but far from being a child. So, each of them got their limit, but then the older guy changes his jacket and heads back into the store. 10 minutes later, they’re back with their cart full with the same items. As I continued to watched, the old guy changes his jacket again, and starts going back in. I usually mind my business, but this A-hole needed to be told off, which I did. I won’t repeat what I said, but he knows what I think of him. I just couldn’t help myself, because of this selfish piece of crap, and others like him is why the shelves are empty.

Yes it is, because you know they wouldn't get away with it. The guy doing the robbing would be shot by the guy with the groceries who has a concealed carry permit.
