I had to snap this in a hurry through my back window. I know this is a scraggly fox, but have you ever seen one who has been so well potty trained?

Looks as if he has mange. Foxes with mange typically die in just a few months.

Poor thing hurts so much and is such misery, instead of shooting him with your camera you should've shot him with your 30.06.
Thanks for all of your comments. I have only seen him in my yard yesterday, but neighbors have indicated that they have also seen him.
Fox looks in bad shape. Good shot though.

You might contact your local wild animal rescue center and see if they have food pellets with ivermectin in it - this is an oral medication that can kill the mites that cause mange. Similar to the small dog flea and tick tablets.
