Infinite is right. You seem to have an extra set of keys on this Yamaha. I've stared at this image for a while now and just can't quite figure it out. I know it must be a reflection but I'm having trouble understanding it. So if your goal was to make people (me) think, you have succeeded.

Just a beautiful finish on the fallboard ( part that covers the keys when closed. ) sometimes even made with a mirror.

A piano is still the most amazing and complicated instrument: it has 88 keys for as many notes form the lowest that sound like a large church bell to the highest piercing sounds. A human being can play as many as ten at a time but when played fast it sounds like an entire orchestra. Beethoven would have loved the Yamaha or a Steinway, his was a poor instrument by comparison but he loved it so much he composed 32 sonatas for it. A few great pianists memorized and performed or recorded all of them, millions of notes. For starters, listen to these great works, it will keep you busy for a while.

I think that I would have used a wide angle lens and had some portion of the piano in focus, to be dramatic. The entire shot is out of focus.

thanks for your comment, actually c6 is in focus, (prime lens, large aperture)...it was my intention for this shot.... certainly there would be other ways to shoot it depending on one's preference.
