These pictures were taken on March 7th, 2020 during our 18 day cruise to Hawaii from San Diego & back. Our cruise started 3/1 & ended 3/18 as planned and we were very lucky that all went well for everyone aboard. My goal when we booked it earlier was to have a very relaxed vacation. We all became more aware of what was really happening in the real world......probably mid cruise! Our daughters were happy to have us arrive home safely late at night on March 18th as one of them picked us up at the Indianapolis airport. They even stocked us up with some food! We are now behaving and staying put!!
Since I seem to have extra time available these days.....might as well share some of my Hawaiian photos under "My Topics". Here's a few from our day in Kona where we took a taxi for a 3 hour tour. Bob

Thanks Photogirl17.....It was a great trip and so glad we did it when we did. The next cruise lined up for our ship was of course....cancelled! Happy to have some current Hawaiian photos of Hawaii, Oahu & Maui. Having lived on Oahu for 18 years this cruise was an enjoyable approach to revisiting the Islands. Much appreciated, Bob
We were supposed to leave for Maui on the 9th of April. Oh, well . . . .

Sorry jaymatt…….that you won't be able to make it to Maui on April 9th. Maybe...in May! Thanks for the thumbs up on my Kona entry. During our cruise we were suppose to go to Lahaina, but since the water was too rough for using a tender we ended up in Kahului instead. I was looking forward to seeing Lahaina once again. We did enjoy our tour which included a little bit of up country. Thanks again....and Aloha! Bob

Thanks Transbuff…..for checking out my Kona series. I got a kick out of that sign that we saw at The Kona Coffee place. As to the distance to Hawaii......go by todays ships & it's like 5 days away! Glad you enjoyed the "visit" and hope you get to go someday. Bob

Thanks rusty nails....for your kind comment. Glad you enjoyed this series. You're exactly correct about "going through the archives." Sorting things out is such a challenge when one takes so many pictures while vacationing! Hawaii has always been so picturesque that it's a pleasure to share. Much appreciated, Bob
OOPS! My wife corrected me on this photo that I posted above. It's not a Ti leaf plant, but rather a Croton. A Hawaiian Croton! I stand corrected.
By the way....that's a cemetery in the background at The Old Painted Church. Bob
