Same here. My wife watches endless Datelines when she's not working from home.

Thanks - there is no toilet paper or grocery problems, the staff are great, and she is slowly gaining the ability to be mobile.
My mother has been challenged by dementia for about a decade. We could deal with most of her reactions, etc. And I tried to learn as much as I could about it and what I might expect to deal with. There is even a woman on youtube with a focus on dementia support family members. Recommend you learn as much as possible to better prepare you. Each 'patient' is unique and has their own symptoms and reactions. My mother did pass, a few months before her 95th birthday with a good life and many accomplishments, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. My best wishes are for you both.

Thanks very much. We are aware of some of the issues as both my wife's parents had it.
Presidential press conference just ended, the Pres. and 2 doctors at center stage. He's listening to them and agreed that the current confine at home should continue until April 30th, not Easter. And, the difference, per the Pres. and doctors is holding the USA death rate to maybe 100,000 or 200,000 instead of 1.8 to 2.2 million.
I'm already more than stir crazy. No idea what shape I will be in after another 30 days of this! We had planned to be in St. Simons/Jeckyll Island for the bird migration over 2 weeks ago and had to cancel.
I have a grown niece with cerebral palsy with an intellectual disability. She lives in a group home which has banned visitation, and her birthday was last week. My sister has had a hard time trying to explain to her why her family couldn't visit her on her birthday, or any time soon.
I wonder what would it takes to photograph the virus.

Yes we were supposed to go up to Pt Pelee NP, in Canada, a migration stop on the North Shore of Lake Erie in mid-May, but that clearly isn't happening either {but my wife hasn't canceled our motel reservations quite yet}.

I will admit it, I am a high-risk individual for exposure, so we have been closeted for now 16 days with no end in sight.
So, that being said, to keep myself sane I have been following the Cats with my Nikon (they run when they hear the focus motor), shooting sunsets and sunrises in Los Angeles and time-lapses with a DJI ActionCam.
What have all of you been doing to keep your sanity intact?
Most of my photography consists back yard birds so it doesn't impact it very much. Since I'm reclusive by nature avoiding crowded places is what I normally try to do when I can.

For the last 2 weeks I have been spending a lot of time visiting my wife in hospital. She doesn't have the virus however she lost the ability to be mobile (dementia). They are working on the mobility issue and ofter that tackle about the dementia problem. So at the moment I am just taking it day by day.
Richard, you have my sympathies and prayers. It's bad enough we have this stressor affecting our lives, but you have the additional worry of your wife. I feel for you, and hope for you.

Your standard laboratory issue electron microscope, and a Level 4 Biocontainment Lab.
