Nice shots there. We have an interstate bridge near here that has been dubbed Graffiti Bridge. It’s easy to get to because there’s an access road under it. I go there every once in a while to see what has changed.

Great images!!!!
I really like the footprints in the dust, they almost look like they are in concrete.
We used to go to the river front in St.louis and photograph the Graffiti on the Flood wall, Haven't been there since the Ferguson Riots, just don't feel safe in that anymore, it was sketchy 15 yrs ago, but now you're a target.
Its a shame the Graffiti Art was beautiful and sure made the concrete was look a lot better.

Thanks M. In a city the size of St. Louis these kinds of places would be downright scary. I am drawn to them, and that antenna you don't use much does go online. Even high alert. Locally I have never encountered anyone, but all the same, there is all that evidence of activity. Aside from the tags, which must be ninety percent or more of what you see, there are the occasional works that really get to you, for the sheer artistry.

Thanks Matt. I haven't researched much about graffiti but I bet there is a lot of material that would be interesting to delve into. Thanks for your input!

Great documentary series, but what I really love is your shot of the footprints. Who would think to take that pic, and all the stories it carries. Wonderful!

Yes, I like it too. Especially the racoon tracks. One of my favorites.

Very interesting series and narrative. You've lent an air of mystery and solved it in one post. But, left a bit to ponder still.

Many thousands of people drive over this place every day. It's not easily accessible, nor is there any way to see it, unless you actually
know where to go . Other than kids going down there to do what kids do, and from evidence I have seen of the homeless, graffiti artists have been going there for a long time. I have always been fascinated by graffiti as an art form, and the places you find it, where it has an uncertain life span, sometimes in relative obscurity. So yesterday it dawned on me to go have a look. What I saw appeared to have been weathering for some time. Here are a few photos that briefly document the place. I have maxed out the download size because the texture is such an integral part of it.
Many thousands of people drive over this place eve... (show quote)

As part of the story or as an image? That spray paint comes in every color you can imagine. I saw more silver than usual. Maybe it was on sale.

As part of the story. Much of the graffiti, at least for me, is hard to read, but the footprints tell a story.

Thanks for your feedback 10MPlayer. Those foot prints are turning out to be popular. I admit I don't try to read it. I just respond to it in the graphic sense.
