Find something around the house to shoot.
I had to shoot something.
Went to the refrigerator and frond some eggs to shoot and see if I can make them interesting.
Help others using my post to come up with other ideas and post here. Let's keep busy.
Keep it something inside or outside your home and photographed during this lock down.
If you want, show us your egg shot. Hope this is just a start for lots of ideas to keep us busy.
Jim-Pops you are an inspiration. I really like that shot. I have been shooting around the house collecting material for background. You are lucky to have eggs to shoot. They are one of the products on the "Endangered Food List down here.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll just get some chickens. When they quit laying they go into the stew pot
Terrific use of light and form. Black and white is perfect!

Wow, that really works. Love the rays of light coming from that upper right corner. Well done.

Great example of the power of B&W!
Nice affect Jim. The focus runs off a little too quickly for me, but still very enjoyable. Nice that you’re getting the inspiration in these far from ideal times.

Darn I just had egg and cheese omelet for breakfast. Then I saw your post.
You’re right about keeping busy.
I like your shot because it is something ordinary and around the house. Not all shots have to be a lovely sunset or landscape shot.

Do you have anything to contribute giving us ideas Frank?
I went outside, didn't leave my yard, and found this clover flower. Um 😏 weed
Wind was blowing pictures weren't very sharp or in focus so spent the next hour and a half adding textures and stuff trying to make something out of nothing . Didn't really work but kept me busy. 😊

Thanks so much Erich. The rays were an after thought but I think helped tie it all together.

Started in color but thought the B&W was better than the pink crate.🤔
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you find something around the house to shoot and share.

Long before this virus alert, I would go around the house and photograph the most common of items. Light switch’s, flooring lamps tile clocks etc. If it is in the house I photographed it. With the idea to use them in some “future” composite.
What I have been doing lately are composites of various photos I have in my library. Some have been more successful than other

I had trouble figuring out how far I wanted the DOF but ended with this. The crate was about 11" long thought about focus stacking but decided on this. Thanks so much for stopping by. If you find something around your house to shoot pleas share it. We need ideas.
