Fitness lifestyle editorials with a gifted and accomplished tween model…

For many who are now wisely adhering to “Social Distancing” a daily home Yoga practice often can be excellent therapy. Yoga promotes physical health while also contributing to mental wellness by greatly reducing stress and anxiety with its serene calming affect.

Yoga is a lifestyle not a competition… namaste "I bow to the divine in you".

Poses: Navasana (boat); Ustrasana (camel); Setu Bandhasana (bridge)

Camera: D810; Manual Mode; 1/200; f/8; ISO:64; FL:92mm WB:5050K
Lens: AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED IF VRII
Session: 2020-02-22 (my Studio has been closed since that date).

Note: Currently studying Nursing Implications for mechanical ventilation in an ICU milieu.
Btw, my colleague and dear friend passed her NCLEX-RN Licensure exam on 2020-01-17; was immediately hired by her local hospital and started her RN career as an ICU Nurse on 2020-02-18. Walking in lockstep with her keeps me totally focused.

Food for thought:
‘There is no neutrality in a world crisis. You either have to be part of a solution, or you’re likely going to be part of the problem.’

Once you have identified there is a problem, please come up with some ideas on how to solve, or at least reduce the problem.

Professionally I work in the beauty industry and I’ve been contacting my beauty product suppliers asking them to reach out to all the nail salons on their client lists with a request that they donate N95 masks to their local hospitals. Nail Salons use massive amounts of N95 masks and owing to “Social Distancing” they certainly will not be engaged in providing their services in the immediate future…

Do you know of any industry and/or commercial venture in your locale that might have idle N95 masks? If so please reach out to them and ask if they would donate this vital PPE to their local hospitals. N95 Masks are disparately needed in nearly all hospitals now. Grab an oar and pull… lets turn this pandemic around; we can and will do this! God Speed…

A beauty rendering of the above tween Yoga fitness model...
Hair styling can make a considerable difference...

Good news! There is success in a campaign to augment availability of PPE Masks to those on the front lines. Several of the Cosplay Fashion Designers I collaborate with are now turning their craft into making PPE to fight Covid 19... They are sewing protective masks to be placed onside of regular N95 Mask so doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers currently limited to only one N95 Mask per day can maximize there effectiveness. These cloth masks can help a N95 Mask last for an entire 12 hour shift. One Cosplay Designer mentioned she is now turning out 50 fabric masks per day and donating them to her local hospital.

Please be creative... there is currently a huge problem, please find innovative ways you can help those on the front lines... grab an oar and pull for all your worth... The CDC is now on the verge of reversing its policies on Face Masks… Possibly following China’s success the CDC may soon start recommending that virtually everyone wear a mask in order to slow the spread of Covid 19. Near all face masks can help to limit the transfer is this virus by individuals who are asymptomatic …

We can and will win this fight, surrendering to fate simply isn't an option!
Thank you to all the courageous Nurses, Doctors and other Healthcare Workers currently in harms way.
