Hi. My name is Alan Grant. My hobby is bird photography. I use a Nikon D300 and D500, mainly with a 200-500mm Nikon lens, mostly hand held with the d-72 dynamic autofocus, aperture priority and high speed burst mode with a wide aperture setting. Yesterday, the first hooded oriole of the season showed up at my hummingbird feeder. I believe it is a subadult male.
