Camera Stabilizer Question

Ads for camera stabilizers have been hitting my FB page for some time now and I'm seeing where they would be useful. The ads are from different sellers but they all push the same stabilizer, a G6 Plus. Here is a link to one of them. https://jdgray.store/products/g6-plus-3-axis-handheld-gimbal-stabilizer-for-mirrorless-camera?fbclid=IwAR2v0b_J_4b8CEH_ehks8J8-32O0Zj9NG9ZOcTvtLsorEBFrZM66QoDmYd0

Price is very low from all sellers, so I'm suspicious. Any thoughts or advice?

Why order one from a store in China (JDGRAY.STORE) if the prices in the U.S. are comparable?

$9.99 for something that is supposed to do all that it says it does? Does it come with an option to purchase a bridge in Brooklyn?
Seriously, B&H doesn't sell it, that I can see, which is the first thing that would make me suspect its quality. They do sell a stabilizer for about the same price but it is bare-bones basic compared to the one you are looking at and the reviews are mainly terrible. Just how much high-tech capability, reliability, and quality do you think you can get for that price?
Some bargains are bargains. Some are just junk. I would suspect that this one is junk. Still, it's only $9.99, plus shipping and tax I would guess. Are you feeling lucky?

Edit: Just looked at the ad again and I am a bit confused. Is the price $9.99 or $22.99? Either way......

My thoughts, it looks like a gimmick, most gimmicks do not improve your images, they just empty your wallet without significant improvements to your images.
My advice, learn how to hand hold your camera correctly, elbows into your body, camera held against your face, left hand below the lens, breath in, as you breath out, lightly press the shutter button.

That's the way my Dad taught me about 65 years ago, and this still works for me (except with the cell-phone camera).

I just ordered one for my Sony RX100VII so we’ll see! It looks like the same model that’s on Amazon for over $150. Gotta be a knockoff but who knows? What’s $28.00? Thanks for the link!

In my humble opinion I trust stabilizers built into the lens or into the camera body. If not, I use a tripod.

It sounds great! But it also sounds "to good to be true". Would love to hear from someone who has one. OK, who's going to be the Guinea Pig???? I read the load limit (<800 grams) and at 1.76 Lbs. you wouldn't want to put much of a camerra on it! Should be OK for cell phone or a GoPro.

It does look like it would cost more than the price mentioned to manufacture, just from looking at the exploded diagrams, fairly complex item build for just a few dollars. It is good to be suspicious...........

I’ll be the Guinea Pig Lol! Would be hard to believe it’s the same G9 Plus that is listed close to $200 on other sites! Who knows?

I can't get a good hamburger for $10. Boy, they spent a lot on that slick advertisement though (unless they stole it from a reputable dealer).

I would hesitate buying any camera equipment from an advertisement posted on Face Book. I did so on several occasions and was less than pleased with the results . The products came from China and were not as pictured in the video-ad as posted. Buy from reputable dealers only and don't risk your money on such things unless you know for sure that they are legitimate. Good luck.

Looks a little like a gimbal with a hand held stick with buttons. Looks way to awkward for my taste.
