While the stupidity of many of our fellow Americans may be all too obvious, don't get too depressed. Every nation has its idiots. Stupidity knows no borders. Europe's handling of the Corona virus is an excellent illustration. Just stick your head in the sand until it is too late. Italy is a very sad example and the rest of Europe is not far behind.

LOL!!! It would be nice to get some of that spaghetti seed so I don't have to go to the grocery store to get some.

Well once on career day I had an 8th grade student say he wanted to be a crewman on the USS Enterprise.
Another boy said "My brother is in the Navy and he is on and aircraft carrier, the XXXX."
1st boy "I want to be on the one with Captain Kirk."

Mandy's comment is perhaps an ironic comment on the modern world's separation from the reality of life... the association of the magic of the retail vs the source. I grew up in a time when there were cows, chickens, and gardens with veggies. After retirement I taught for 3 years full-time 9th grade... i was amazed of how ignorant the students were of the real world. Many lived in an on-TV storybook world !

Waaay back when I was in high school I told a very sweet (but gullible) girl that there was a macaroni bush. You just cut the "stalk" and let it dry. Man those were the days. Now someone would Google it to see if I was pulling their leg)

That's only in those areas that are with lands 1/2 inch wide and 200 feet long. I understand that there are angel hair spaghetti farms that are less than a 1/4 inch wide.
