HI was wondering if anyone could help me . I have been a member for awhile and i love looking at the beautiful pictures and love getting the helpful advice from all of you, so here is my question. I am on my desktop right now to ask you this question.. why is it that i am able to reply to photos posted and ask questions while on the UHH site but when i am on my samsung tablet i get the UHH everyday but i am not able to comment on photos or join the forums to ask questions like i am doing now? when i try it says you need to log in, when i log in the same name and password i use on my desktop it directs to me to the log in page so i do it again. and again it says you need to be logged on. I even tried using a different name and password but because of my email it says you are already a member and you need to log in!!! UUUGGGHHH any suggestions on how to fix this? and no i dont want to have to go on my desk top everytime to enjoy the UHH. I like to sit by my firepit( when the weather warms up) and also when we are camping and not at home. Thank youall for any suggestions you may have!!

I stay logged in on both me IPAD and my CPU all the time sounds like maybe a problem with your tablet

Try closing the browser on your tablet, then going back in to the page. You might even completely power down the tablet.

I go to my yahoo email and that is where i get the UHH so i just open it like an ordinary email jus like on my desktop

You want to post against an email? is your email via a browser or email client?
Posting to a forum is done after logging into the website via a browser.
Being logged in on a PC does not mean you are logged in on a tablet.
They are separate access mechanisms.

I'm confused.

It appears the OP is using the daily digest.

Try this on your tablet: ignore Yahoo, open your browser directly as if you wanted to surf the web or go to another favorite website. In the address bar, type uglyhedgehog.com

Look at the top of the page to see if you need to log in; if yes, try to do so. Hopefully, going in the direct route will be the easy fix.

I believe the user name and.pasword for the digest is different from the forum user name and password.

From the help pages:

To keep the system more flexible, we run the digest and the forum separately. My Profile settings only affect your forum account, but not your digest subscription. If you need to change your digest e-mail address, then please use the "settings" link, which is included at the bottom of each digest e-mail.

There is no separate or different user name/password for accessing UHH via the emailed digest. Try it, you'll see

(there are a few UHH users who come back periodically with "fake" new accounts to get around the fact they were booted out previously. But most of us don't have to worry about that )

You need to make sure your browser doesn't reject and doesn't automatically clear cookies. That's what logs you out.

Additionally, the browser you normally use and the browser that opens up links in e-mail might be two different applications. Or two different profiles of the same application. And one of those profiles might be configured to automatically clear cookies.

When that happens, the forum has no way of knowing that you are you. Because that information has been erased.

So you might want to check privacy settings in your browser.
