Hello everyone. New to this forum but have been reading it for a while just never "made-the-move". I own a Canon Rebel XS. I just bought a Tamron 60mm macro. Was wondering if anyone has any tips or helpful info for me. This is my first time using a macro. Would greatly appreciatiate any and all help. Thanks! Looking forward to meeting new friends...

Hi, and welcome to the group! My first tip with a new lens is... Go out and try it! Shoot lots and take a look. Find an image that you really like, and find out WHY you like it. Then find other opportunities to replicate that shot. The more you shoot, the more you learn. Oh, and don't forget to share your images here to receive suggestions and tips. Have fun!
