The areas I have been to were usually crowded elbow to elbow, making it to hard to isolate the vignettes.

Assuming that the nearly black areas will never yield much detail, I experimentally cropped away about half of the dark interior space on the left and then the “weight” of the black shadows at the right of the eater made a nice balance with the remaining darkness on the left :-)
Shaved a bit off the top to relieve tall skinny format created by my left side crop and the eater greatly increased in “presence”.
Sorry to be so wordy but I didn’t feel right about posting a visual version. Also did not find the cropping loss of full spelling out of the words on the food stall to be distracting. Oops, getting too wordy again. Sorry about that. But I would never had tried out a bit of cropping if the pic were not basically so worthwhile in the first place :-)

Well, User ID, I have no problem with others posting their ideas/photo modifications regarding my posts, as long as they're reasonable. It should lead to more considerations, and, hopefully, improved photos. In this case, I wonder if your modifications would keep the tie between him and the food booth. The photo isn't just to show "man eating," but, "man eating at food booth, where he bought his food." In any case, your thoughts are welcome.
