Bathroom Sign for the Times
Made this and hung it on the back side of the guest bathroom door at eye level. Good year round but especially useful right now. You can't miss it on the way out.
Actually I have this hanging on the back of the guest's bathroom. They can't get out without seeing it. Need a drink have a beer, whiskey, etc. but not water. Remember the experts say alcohol kills the virus. I just can't remember if they said internally or externally?

You would be surprised at just how many people don't wash their hands. When I go into a public latrine I always observe those leaving to see if they stop at the sinks. Maybe now with this virus scare they will be more mindful.

One thing that might help would be better designed public restrooms. Something that often irritates me is after washing and drying my hands I have to grab the door handle of the restroom to get out where those who didn't wash their hands just grabbed. Not a problem you say, just grab it with the paper towel you just dried your hands with. Ok not a problem but now there is no place to dispose of the towel near the door most of the time? Do I just drop it on the floor after opening the door and go on my merry way? Petty I realize but it is irritating. All this assuming you aren't in a restroom that has air dryers only.

I think of that also....and have been wondering about that for a long time. Maybe the places will get smart & put a basket near the door for the people who use towels to grab the door handle.
And I read that air dryers spread bacteria more than paper towels.

Now that we have people washing their hands we should start working on using their turn signals.

This would be good. The first turn signals were on the 1939 Buick and within about ten years they were standard on all cars. For having been around for so long I'm surprised that so many people don't know what they are for or how to use them.

Oh, they know. They're just too inconsiderate to use them.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I tried to insinuate they were ignorant rather than thoughtless since I think being stupid is not a bad as being an inconsiderate pig.
