These flowers grow wild by the beach, directly in the sand.
They happily survive the harsh salty sand, extreme sun, wind and lack of moisture.
I don't know their scientific name, but everybody here calls them "Dedos" ("Fingers") because their fat leaves resemble fingers.
Each flower is about 3" in diameter.

Nice shot. On the west coast of the US we call that Ice Plant. Grows in sandy soil and even sand.
