Most of us who visit national wildlife refuges will recognize this sign. My preference is to photograph wildlife subjects without manmade objects in the frame but I can't resist some opportunities....

Nice shots Phil ! - I especially like the seldom seen rear views. It is sad that many of these man-made places do not have adequate NATURAL perches for the birds !......thanks for sharing

Nice shots of this hawk. I'm guessing this is a Red Shouldered Hawk.

Exactly right! In these low, flat wetlands raptors that make a living hunting from a perch call these signs thier office. Thanks Linda!

The lack of natural perches on the wetland refuges I visit is an issue Larry. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Hereford, these are all Red-tailed Hawks, the first and fourth are the same bird the others are different birds taken at different times.
