Then you don’t need the check.

Are you gonna tell someone with GASitis they don't need the check? That will only aggravate the condition.

What money? Untill I see the money in hand, it just hot air.

I am hearing it's going to be $1200 on April 6 for those making under 75k a year (I guess they will judge by last year's tax filing?). For over 75k it will be reduced (prorated) - at 100k+ no check. But yes they still have to work out the minutia and like you I want it to be real! I also still have an unspent $100 gift certificate for B&H so I may combine it with that.

I was thinking about this just yesterday when I heard that news. IF I get it my plan is donate it to the local vet house. I am not wealthy, but I get by on my SS check, small retirement payment, and the small rent check from a disabled senior friend who lost his home due to tax foreclosure and was living in a motel- and up until this year I was working part time. I still have enough to live paycheck to paycheck and my house is paid for as are my vehicles (all 15 to 20 years old - a Jeep, a pickup truck and a RV), and I have enough set aside each month to pay for my property taxes and insurance. I feel blessed.

Just as I said. I won’t be getting anything, but that’s as it should be. I don’t need it.

There is a movement in my locality to donate to local aid organizations, like food shelves etc.

As usual from the magic money tree forest in la la land.

Me Three, and I have enough to easily last me the rest of my life--inherited a small warehouse full, pre-rolled and components. Sold all of the stuff I don't use.
