Took a rare trip to a neighboring town and while I was there took a couple shots. A good friend of 50+ years passed last July and his widow gave me his camera and 4 lenses. One of the lenses is a manual Chinar 35 mm.
Of all the lens I have owned, never a 35 mm. This one seems very sharp and gives a perspective I enjoy. I set the distance on the lens, set to f8, and shot from "the hip" not looking through the viewfinder. The sepia is not as rich as I printed in my darkroom but it was what I was feeling at the time.
Looks like the lens is haunted by the spirit of your old friend. Lovely and moody images.

I think itβs fine.
Thanks Richard, I am trying to get back to B&W or monochrome.

Thanks SalvageDiver, I hope Gary is having fun looking through the lens with me. Of the four friends I had in H.S. three of them are gone and the oldest was only 66.
