Trouble with Full Frame and Prime Lenses

Long time folks.

I've got a Canon 6D MkII. I haven't had it very long... about 350 shots.

I've got a Sigma EX 50mm 1:1.4 DG HSM that is giving me frames in the shots, but this is not the only lense that's doing this.

Attached are two photos, one from the 50mm Sigma, the other from a Canon 24-105mm. The Canon does not have a ring-around-the-photo the way the Sigma does. They're both designed for full-frame, so I'm at a quandary.

Ideas, suggestions... any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much!

The hard edge of the circle is puzzling but are you sure the Sigma 50 is made for full frame?

Do you have in camera lens adjustments turn on? Are the other lens that show the effect also third party lenses?

Y'all are the very best!

There's a "Lens Aberration Correction" setting (THANKS! Jrhoffman75 for leading me in the right direction). It took a couple of tries as there are 4 different setting in that group, and I had to turn *OFF* the Chromatic Aberration Correction. This removed the "ring-around-the-photo!"

Thanks to ALL ! ! !

That 3rd party lens seems a little soft too. I'd take a few more practice shots to see if it can get some sharper pictures. If not, I think I'd ditch it for another lens or see if it needs repair.
