After being asked by The Matriarch of Monument Valley to do a senior portrait of her grandson. We went their to shoot in sevearal locations. This one image was created high up in the backcountry. We had to climb a cliff up near some hidden Anesazi ruins. I don't think you will see many like this in a yearbook anytime soon. The weather was questionable on the 200 mile trip with rain most of the way.

Good job Bruce. And you're right it will stand out in the yearbook.

A truly gripping image. An awesome portrait of the Valley and an obviously dedicated young musician. As it turns out, thank God for the rain, eh?
