Auto rotating/panning adapter for tripod

Is there a reasonable priced auto rotating/panning adapter that would support my camera? I just want to pan crowds at a music concert. The reason I’m asking is a lot of them can’t support the weight of a full framed dslr.

I can't help you with the panning adapter but I've done several stitched group photos without a tripod. It's really amazing how well it works. This group was made from 5 or six vertical images with a 24-105 f4 on a Canon 5D4.

How do you get this done without nodal point adjustment?

FEISOL PB-70 Panning Base -load capacity 42lb

I simply overlap by about 1/3 each frame and carefully pan across the group keeping the camera as level as possible. PS-Automate does the the rest.

Knowing the camera and lens combo would go a loooooong way in getting a reasonable answer.

Tom - amazing job of posing all those people. I can see every face clearly and only one blink. Very impressive!

You don't need a nodal head in most situations where there is some distance to the camera and few foreground elements that obscure background elements.

Thanks for the compliment. It helped that these were educators. They are used to being photographed in groups for school photos. In addition they only gave me 10 minutes to organize and shoot!
