I introduced you all to Tessa (Contessa Rose, Top Brass Kennels) in April of last year while she was battling cancer. At the time, after surgery and chemo her vet and I thought she had beaten it, but it was not to be. She crossed the rainbow bridge last October at 10 3/4 years old. I lost all desire for photography over this last year, but it was rekindled when my wife found Amber. Her AKC name is Amber Cheyenne Princess and came from Denali Kennels, Dallas Tx. She was born Oct 15, 2019 and we picked her up for Christmas. I still cry when I see pictures of Tessa, but Amber turns my tears off when she demands attention. Hope you like her early pics.

May Amber provide you happiness and healing from your loss of Tessla. Amber looks like cutey.
The thing to remember when you lose a family Dog for any reason is that Dog spelled backsword is God. They will always be in your mind and heart.

So sorry to hear about your loss of Tessa. All of us who have lost a special pet (companion) feel your pain, and hope that you will be greeted by Tessa at the Rainbow Bridge when the time is right. Amber is a "Doll Baby" who could melt anyone's heart. I would have an awful time trying not to spoil her. I lost my Wife to cancer in May of 2015 and I lost my Silver Shaded Persian Cat, who slept by my side every night, 4 years to the day later. I have a picture of both on my nightstand. I still say goodnight to both every night and good morning to them every morning. Those tears that you speak of still show up here, out of the blue, also.
I love the images you posted. That puppy is amazingly beautiful. Give her a hug for me.
I have been where you are - you will always carry Tessa within your heart and the tears will always be there. And it took strength to meet Amber and she is beautiful and full of love and I admire you.

Strodav, I'm so sorry for your loss and I know it hurts horribly. Tessa will live in your heart forever and a part of me feels that whenever we get a new puppy/pet to join our household, they carry a bit of the previous pet we have lost with them and every now and then it will shine thru and you know your Tessa is still with you in your new pet. Enjoy Amber, give her lots of hugs and kisses, she is a real sweetheart ♥ ♥
I'm so sorry about the loss of your beautiful Tessa, Dave, and understand the terrible pain of losing a pet. A new little buddy can help to ease the pain, but one never really gets over the loss. I know Amber will be a lovely companion to you and your wife. She's adorable.
