For Christmas, our older daughter and her husband gave us a self-contained hydroponics kit, which we have set up in our {dark} basement. Right now, we are growing herbs indoors all year, as the kit intended; as I plant a garden this Spring, I am hoping to expand the kit to include perhaps tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.

Actually these pix. were taken last year....and yes all the parades have been canceled but I'm sure people
will wear them anyway when they can!
