Very nice shot. The blur of the wheels & safety barrels is very effective in showing the movement.
I know the layout of the Charlotte track having made several trips there in my early teens. The only improvement I can suggest is to shoot where there is a little more background such as bleachers with people or other static objects. It will give a better sense of movement.

I have other shots, however I wanted to get closer to the car and still try to show movement.
When I shot these, it was mid week and the stands were empty.
I discovered that panning with cars moving that fast, zooming in, is different than panning shooting BIF.
It is a lot more difficult!
I was positioned in the infield, behind pit row on the roof of the building.
You did very good. The car is sharp. The wheels & barrels show some blur. That’s what you’re looking for. As long as you’re happy, that’s what counts.
