I hope everyone has a great weekend. I also hope you are safe from this ugly virus that’s going around. I’m not sure what the big deal is concerning toilet paper but when people panic sometimes things get out of hand (get the pun? “out of hand”). I try to keep a level head and truth be known I created an emergency supply of food similar to MRE’s about a year ago, as well as other emergency supplies just in case there was no electricity. I was a Boy Scout (Be Prepared) but my 20 years in the Army was really behind the decision to get prepared for anything. Anyway, I’m rambling. Stay calm, laugh hard, protect your family and pray for everyone. I’m sure we’ll get through this together.

Thank God I'm a country boy! I inherited a farm with a few big corn fields. Corn cobs galore! I ain't got no worries about taking care of any "out of hand" ends of business. To that end, I have a bit of a green thumb, (nutin comes close to my poke sprouts), totally okay with road kill coons on the grill, possum fritters and the like. A country boy can survive!! In light to your reference to precautions you've taken, as the old adage goes, better to have and not need than to need and not have! To that end, I thank you for your service, I too did my twenty in the Navy and I hope you will agree, that any regrets are to few to mention. Indeed we will get through this together!

I saw a picture of a woman with a cart filled with nothing but toilet paper. Somebody should have explained to her that if she doesn't buy any food she won't need much toilet paper. Go figure!
