Hah! I am not quite 3 months too old to be a Boomer. So I guess I am the tail end of the "Silent Generation".
I remember seeing the eagles back in 1976 on a tour of relatively new and somewhat unknown bands.
It was a good show

They're all just young kids from my perspective
I don't see ANY of my favorite bands on that list.
Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Les Brown are a few of them.
What, I am not the only one who got old! Back then I thought these people were forever, and that I was too. Now at 84, I only have 16 years for 100 and so these bands will stay young... recorded on a forever forever format.
