You're right, the lens is amazing. This is a great example!

Given the colorspace and file size of this attachment, you might consider the resizing ideas presented in this post: Recommended resizing parameters for digital images

I resized the image and reposted but don't I lose the EXIF data?

Overall - no, you don't lose the EXIF. But, it depends a bit on what specific EXIF is being desired. The method also is important. Starting with a Lightroom-based workflow, the original EXIF is ingested into LR via the import process. However, Adobe ignores much of the brand-specific information, like the AF point location and the AF drive mode. That data remains in the original RAW or JPEG file, unmodified by Adobe. The data just isn't maintained by Adobe inside the LR catalog nor is that data written into the resulting JPEGs, TIFFs, etc. Adobe also strips this info via Camera RAW and PS. The 'standard' information like lens model, focal length, shutterspeed, aperture, ISO, shooting date, camera model are all retained by Adobe, and written into the resized files.

A need to analyze the AF data isn't usually a need for general digital sharing.
