Great Blue Heron Late Afternoon

Taken back in January near a bait stand along the JFK Causeway leading from Corpus Christi to North Padre Island, Texas.
This cooperative GBH was back and side lit in the late afternoon by a yellowish sky. Luckily this bird did not get entangled with the monofilament fishing leader near its feet.
