I have 4 camera bodies,( different brands) a host of lens, tripods, 4 camera bags, and various other items pertaining to photography. I have such a difficult time keeping up with all of it. Before you tell me to get rid of some of it, I have prepared to sell two bodies and a few unused lenses. I'm trying to come up with a way to store them all together so I'm not searching all over the house when I want to use one. Anyone have a satisfying solution?
Thanks in advance!

After thinking about it for a while, I realized my camera gear is scattered all over the place. I guess I should gather it all together and organize it!

I use old samsonite suitcases and store them in the closet

I got a couple of cheap camera bags from ebay. One holds my 12 lenses, the other holds my 3 bodies. I put each lens in an old gym sock (old enough so that they are no longer lint-donors). I labeled each compartment so that I will know which lens is in the sock. Both bags sit in the corner of my closet awaiting inspiration. I spent less than 50 bucks on the whole deal.

If you have the time, money, space or inclination, you may try something like the item listed below:

Sauder products are of high quality and not difficult to assemble.

I store everything in three Nikon bags, small, medium and large. The small bag is for one DSLR and extra lens, medium is for one DSLR and two extra lenses. Large is for two DSLRs and four or more lenses. All bags hold misc items such as batteries, sd cards etc and all cameras are already fitted with a lens. My Nikons pretty much interchange with each other and can be switched by bag according to needed use. Bags stored in a closet accessible but not in view when not in use.

I store my stuff in an Electronic Dry Cabinet. Helps control fungus buildup in the lenses.

Be sure to first remove the batteries. I have an F5 I'm using as a boat anchor.
