I am posting here versus astro-photography to perhaps reach a larger audience. I just purchased this tracking mount and have the following issue and would appreciate any input from those actually using this device. I will also call the iOptron tech support line and B & H from which I purchased it, but wanted unbiased input from actual users. The manual shows the Polar Scope Dial with numerous markings. In my scope, I can see all of the marking except the hourly markings (12, 1, 2, 3, 4 …11). My scope does light up and all other markings are visible through the eyepiece except the actual numbers denoting the hours. The manual shows the actual numbered hours (12, 1, 2, 3 etc.) as visible but I cannot tell if the numbers are merely for positional reference to a watch face or whether they should actually be visible through my scope. If the actual numbers should be/are visible in your scope and I cannot see them in my scope, the scope is going back as there may be other unknown issues with my copy. Any insight and guidance that you can provide would be appreciated.
I was considering purchasing this tracker and interested in your experience so far. I see no one responded to your quirky.
