Hi Tom:
Be careful out there Pops.
You haven't missed a beat from your previous post about baseball at night. Great stuff.
I should be able to shoot a girl's softball game tomorrow afternoon, then the rains begins for the next 2 - 3 days. .
Be Well,
Jules

Rain???? You get rain out in LV?
Rain, vs snow, would be welcome ‘round here 😭

Not to often with the rain, maybe 6 inches a year. And that comes during the summer with the monsoon in about an hour lol..
Thank You everyone for Your Comments.
I appreciate all the positive comments of course, and I welcome all comments, suggestions on how to improve.
When I got on this Forum I was shooting with a Nikon D-5000, and a 18-55mm kit lens in Auto or Sports mode.
My progress to more advanced Camera, and so many things I have learned that has helped me improve has been from the Good, excellent skilled Photographers on this site.
I was blessed to meet a Gentleman by the name of Irv in Ohio on the Hog, who gave me lots of mentoring thru emails, etc.
Then I met a good friend Jim Weber here on the Hog who lived near me here in West Central Florida who suggested We meet for lunch. We did, discussed camera's, sports photography, became the best of friends lots of lunches dinners, and shooting games together. Jim is a very talented Sports Photographer taught me a lot, and suggest I buy the Nikon D3s...(I miss Jim, He and his bride moved to Oklahoma to be near family last year)
In summary, Thanks to everyone for Your comments, You give me confidence, I can recall when I was a bit nervous to post some of My attempts. I love the Hobby, and I love learning, and trying to stay active as I turn age 80 in June.
Thanks very much.
Tom
You might have wobbled out to the game, but you obviously weren't wobbling when snapping the shutter! Nice photos; great action.
