Sacramento NWR, Colusa NWR--best places in driving distance. Wish we had the options the Florida folks have, but alas, we don't. Still, a really productive place to see the critters. (Improved by download)

Thanks, Country Boy. I usually see turtles sunbathing on logs. This place had no logs but the turtles improvised!

I was in your neighborhood in Nov and visited your Sacramento NWR & Colusa NWR.... Never seen so many birds in my life! Florida has its great spots too. Were all very lucky. ;-)
