I love ice and photos of it and will myself probably have to wait many months before getting my own photos, so thanks for sharing yours. They are all good but I really, really like #8.

Very nice series. Had you thought about removing the orange pencil-like object from #6? I find it distracting.

Look forward to seeing your shots SW. #8 was the most unusual condition I have seen, and the shots I got were very interesting. Seen better in others was near mirror like reflections of the trees across the pond. Thanks for your comments!

In several edits of this photo I in fact did remove that bit of straw. Believe me I took out quite a few little sticks and specks of something. I do think it can look too sterile so I tend to leave what seems natural, if its not distracting. Nature isn't perfect.

Thanks fuminous. I chose this one because of the near shrub for context. Others have even more of that sense. Glad you had a look!
