OK I will answer my own question. Biden did NOT bail out the auto industry. Neither he nor Obama bailed out the auto industry. The auto bailout was signed by BUSH before Obama took office. His campaign slogan--GM is alive and Bin Ladin is dead was correct. But neither had anything to do with "GM is alive"
