A whole chicken leg with its cut thigh was sautéd in a med soup pan on all sides till nice and brown on all sides. Medium high heat 10-12 minutes. Seasoned with cracked pepper, oregano, and sweet basil.

After sautés was done I added one 14oz can of Pastene small Whole Cherry Tomatoes, they are the very best to buy. Easy open can is filled to the very top! After mixing chicken all over with Cherry Tomatoes, I placed the medium soup bowel in my preheated 375º toaster oven for 55 minutes. "PERFECT!"

The chicken was tender and very tasty . . . mixed veggies with added Okra and melted with three tabs of butter on top of veggies.

Nice easy recipe to try, not complicated at all! Skin was removed on chickien before I started, I'm still learning my cooking skills, but, you have to Love to cook . . . AP

I do my best to be non-confrontational and negative. But this forum is about photography and not recipes and recipe pictures that are out of focus.

And I love cooking!

It meets 100% of the criteria of the Photo Gallery, especially the Okra. Odd you'd feel compelled to add a negative comment. Wouldn't it make sense to add your value elsewhere if an image of an evening meal isn't to your liking?

Wow. I, too, think this post and photo belong right here. I love AP's recipes and photos of his meals. I have been missing these posts lately. I am so glad you posted this, AP. Please don't be deterred by someone who is having a bad day.

Welcome, browser! I have say first, every photograph that one views is about photography. It's the photo that, that person made and has something to say. Although the photo shows softness in the foreground it sharpens as you view further towards the veggies.

The most important part of any photograph is it's composition. Don't forget that lighting! Try to be creative! AP

Welcome, Katydid! Thank You for your fine written response. I have always said in the past, if the food looks good on the dish, I breakout my camera and shoot away!

I am surprised there is not more food photos shown, we all have to eat . . . AP

I was just watching a show on Netflix about fixing up restaurants and in one episode they talked about food photography and how to use it for advertising. Even in the few seconds they discussed it, I learned a lot and would love to try some of these techniques.

Thanks AP.......looks & sounds great. Cherry tomatoes have more intense flavor profiles and are quick and easy to add into a saute'd dish or casserole and your green vegetables are not over-cooked.......ce bon.

Glad to see you again mon ami....keep on cooking.
