You will need a pair of anaglyph glasses to view in 3D.

2D converted to 3D.

It doesn't look 3D to me. But it's a fine picture.

Nice pic of a cute girl. No 3D (not that I care about fake 3D). And, who is Alexandr Ivanov. I thought this was a site to show off our own pix.

My departed wife use to tell me if you don't have something good to say don't say anything. So I will not respond as I probably would have. I can only say to new-comers that if you have a problem contact the Administrator and provide them with your complaint.
If they agree with you then there will be no more 3D posts.

Dude, don't get so uppity. Three of us said there was no 3D in the original post. There wasn't, so now you've posted it again. I don't care one way or the other about 3D as I don't have (and will never get) the special glasses. But, more power to you.

I am glad that you did. I was worried that my eyes were worse.

Personally, I don't care for the 3D effects in the various media. Oddly, there was one time that a system was presented on television that did not give me a headache. But it is due to my particular vision.

Although I do have a query. What and how do you decide on the 2D to convert to 3D? Are you going after the perception of depth?

Keep going after your vision, though.

Thank you for your support of enthusiasm.

The reason I like doing the 2D to 3D conversions is the same as any hobby it is for the challenge and the enjoyment. Also, Time passes rather quickly while you are busy doing the conversions.

The choice for the 2D selections is based somewhat on how much depth I feel that I may be able to bring out of the picture and too set off the main object in the picture. I have expanded that challenge as I consider how much I feel I can accomplish to that end. There have been a lot of setbacks and failures along the way.

I use the grayscale depth map system to do the conversion. Simple scenes take less time and more complex may take an hour or more depending on how well the picture appears as I work on it.

I appreciate your support and consideration.

Feel free to inquire about conversions of a post or PM me about them.

She's very pretty. Looks kind of like Hayden Panatierre (misspelled I'm sure).
