Distance means nothing.
It is how long from empty to full vs a few minutes with gasoline.

You can go in and have something to eat; you can catch up on email and read stuff on the internet on the 15” screen; you can watch YouTube videos or play the built-in video games on that screen; you can take a nap. The super-chargers are fast. It’s rare that you have to go from empty to full; the computer tells you how much you need to get to your next stop.

I won’t be buying a Tesla until 2022 anyway. I can’t afford it.

I guess if you have nothing to do but hang around.
Most people would like to arrive at the destination rather than watch CNN on a diner tv or play stupid video games.
Pretty lame excuses for wasting one's time rather than being able to have the FREEDOM to continue on on your schedule rather than on some stupid charger schedule.

If you have a charger in your garage ($500), you will always have a full "tank" every morning.

I've bought a Model 3 last April.

The thing that took the most getting used to, is, since all the dashboard controls (speedometer, odometer, etc) are on the center screen, there is NOTHING on the dashboard in front of you. It's a bit creepy at night.

And half way through the day empty and my garage is 300 miles away.
There is no argument to convince me to quit using gasoline vs a coal powered car.
