I do. Actually different ones, for whichever subject the photo fits in. I have favorites in Birds, Derelict buildings, ruins in Turkey, landscapes. I have to start culling again! I plan to put a few up tomorrow, right after that 2nd cup of coffee!

Wow! You are even more organized than I am with your favorites folders! Good job!

Good set.
I don't have a favorite photographs folder. If I did it would mostly have content that meant a lot to me, mostly family and (vacation) memories with a few miscellaneous ones thrown in.

Richard, I think it’s OK to have several different folders. You could have one just for your family…… Maybe call it Family vacations. But I think it’s also important to have a folder which you feel are your best photographs of all the photographs you have taken. That folder could have landscapes, people, Objects etc. in it. Or however you would like to organize it.

Brent .., so capable at the beach with surf shots and just about anything else you choose to shoot ... nice work ..

Thanks so very much Dr Nikon. It really helps being an artist first and a photographer second. Compositions are easy for me and my Photoshop skills really help enhance the photos! Thank you so much for your kind words.

I think I will steal yours and then create a new folder. Excellent pictures.
The Nativity scene, was that their lighting or did you add that yourself? The troubling picture was the boys and no life jackets.

Jerseymike, you don’t really want to steal my photos do you?! You can create your own best photos folder. Thank you for the nice compliments on the photos. The lighting on the nativity scene was done professionally but not by me. I just took advantage of all the effort put into that. The boys with no life jackets did not go
out in the water. They were just playing in the Shorebreak. They were all safe!

I don't (and won't) have a favorites folder, too many I like for different reasons...

Well longshadow, that is a problem if you have so many good photos that you can’t condense them down to just a few of your very favorite ones. You must be an excellent photographer!
A professional photographer friend of mine once told me after you shoot a photo session the best thing you can do is immediately go through the photos and delete all the substandard ones. I have tried to live by those words and throw out thousands of photographs. Wouldn’t it be great to know that every photograph you save is a keeper?!

That #9, the shot on a pier and splashed with paint, is outstanding, Brent! Your graphic arts skills are certainly on display in that image!

I can’t seem to make a photograph that would qualify as my favorite, so I don’t have a separate folder for those. I hope to get there one day.

Stan

Longshadow, you must be an amazing photographer to not have a favorites folder!
A professional photographer friend of mine wants told me that after a photo shoot the first thing you should do is delete all your sub standard photographs. I Have taken his advice and throw away thousands of photographs! What a wonderful thing knowing that any photograph you keep is a keeper!
