Question about ads on the forum

Hi all,
Wondering if someone can explain this. I write product copy for a client's website. I download the copy request files and enter the required copy. A half hour ago I completed a file in Excel and saved it to my hard drive. Then I clicked on the daily Hedgehog feed. And there at the top of my UH feed were pictures of the products I'd been writing. This happens all the time. How is this happening - it's really annoying, not to mention an invasion of privacy.

Thanks,
Deb

Maybe your client advertises on UHH?

They're watching.....UHH quit sending me the daily digest. I use the latest Firefox browser. It automatically blocks tracking. UHH doesn't like that.

Deb, It happens to me also. Must be cookies. If I do a search on whatever, I then get an ad for whatever

Get BitDefender VIP. It will stop stop the tracking and is an excellent virus program.

I have my Firefox 'protections' set to strict. Today I have only read 2 New Zealand Newspapers and UHH.
So far Firefox reports it has blocked 243 Trackers. No idea how many are for UHH though.
We have two laptop computers and 2 iPads in our house and only use Firefox.
Interestingly we get very little to no 'spam' and have never had a Virus or any other nasties that have caused disruption.
Very occasionally we find a website wont load properly (usually one with no little padlock in the address bar and get a message from Firefox that the site may not be safe.
