it is original at 100% all things you can see in the shop , date of the build beginning of year 1560 , located in Rome inside of the building owned by monks since many centuries ago , unfortunately it is very difficult to visit it is open to the public only few days in the year .

Did they have anything for the Coronaviris? But nice pictures and those medicines on the shelf look potent.

Our pharmacies in Brazil used to be like that when I was a kid.

Might want to check the expiration dates!

It's interesting in Europe.... Things we consider museum-worthy antiques here in the U.S. are "everyday use" over there.

the only difference is the age of the products , 1560 means 70 years after the discovery of the America , i have some doubts about the existence of such drugstore in US in same period of time

I use to have old drug stores like this in the towns around me when I was a young boy . Sadly , like everything else , they slowly disappeared and nothing remains . It was nice to see some of the old days again in your photos

On the Pharmacists? (Re: checking dates.)

The shots reminded me of the interior of the oldest drug store in Savannah, Georgia (USA). A friend of mine owned the building back in the 1980s. The Smithsonian purchased the interior and moved it to DC. It included the its original Coca-cola Syrup dispenser. I can see it now, boxed away a la other items of antiquity in the underground warehousing as seen at the end of the Indiana Jones's movie, The Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Is that "di Medici" I see scratched on that back wall panel?

You forget the corner Shaman's office? Not to mention the local saloons and barber shops (post Colombo)?

Oh Wow.....you were so lucky to get these shots of that old Pharmacy......460 years old....hard to believe and the furniture is so well made. I am so glad they preserved it for us to enjoy so many years later.
Thank You.
