I believe the 10-18mm is an E-Mount lens. You can use it on any of the A7 series in crop mode which will give an angle of vision the same as on a A6xxx camera. The A7Riii in crop mode you will give you an image of about 18 mp vs 24mp on a A6xxx. You can set the A7Riii to automatically detect the lens and switch to crop mode.

There is a rumor that the 10-18 is actually full frame! I have never tried it myself, but have confirmed it with others.

Typically shooting FF with a crop lens produces a hard ‘vignette’. Using the crop mode will give you the maximum useable portion of the frame for the set aspect ratio. However shooting FF does allow you to play around with different aspect ratios in PP.

There are reports that the Sony 10-18 can be used FF up to about 10-11 mm without vignetting giving a FF equivalent of about 7mm which is pretty good.

I have personal experience with this lens on my A7. You CAN use it full frame. You just will not get use of the entire range. It will work more like a 12-13mm to 18mm if memory serves me correctly. While technically it's a crop lens, it will work as a full frame lens but just not at the widest range.

I've one and my experience tells me it's full frame in the middle of the range, say 12-16, which is quite good.

Laowa has a 10-18mm FF, manual focus lens for Sony A7's
that reportedly is very good with limited distortion, although at that width, distortion is impossible to avoid.

Tammy has a very nice 17-28 FE lens for FF Sony cams. Fast focus, little chroma and sharp to the edges.
Very nice solid lens. I’ve tried the 10-18 and it’s just ok on the a7riii. Not as sharp as the Tammy and the a7riii shoots at ~ 18mp, much less resolution.

The only full frame 10-18 lens I know of for Sony A7/A9 is the Venus Laowa FE 10-18mm F/4.5-5.6 Zoom. I believe it is the only full frame 10-18 available for Sony full frame A7/A9 cameras?
