Do I purchase a Metabones adapter for my Canon lenses (EF 85mm/f1.8, EF 24-70mm/f2.8, EF 50mm/1.8, 28-135/f3.5-5.6 and 70-200mm/f2.8) to work with my Sony a6000 and a6600; or, do I look for a lens to supplement my Sony lenses (18-105mm/f4, 50mm/f1.8, and 30mm/f1.4). I like the Sony cameras for travel. My Canon cameras (6D and EOS SL3) are a bit larger, even though the SL3 is rather light weight. I would like to take two cameras with lenses mounted, not change lenses all the time for whatever scene I am trying to photograph. The Sony with the 18-105 is my go-to for trips, now. I believe a lens with more reach, mounted on either Sony might be what I am looking for.
Any constructive help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Pick Sony or Canon. Sell the one you like the least and double down on you favorite. That way you can forget about this 'dilemma' and find a new one.

A few of your lenses and bodies directly overlap. The idea to pick one platform is justified, and sell off the 2nd place equipment and buy more for the specific platform of choice. You might consider renting an A7III or A7IV body and metabones adapter as a method to justify selling first the EOS bodies and then beginning a selection of the replacement Sony lenses.
Thanks for the advice. I really had not considered selling the Canons, but it does make sense. I am more inclined to use the Sony cameras, so I will look into making the change. KEH, MPB, B & H, Adorama, here I come (maybe even ebay).

If your equipment is in good shape you'll get top dollar selling them yourself on eBay. Maybe Craigslist? I do pretty well on eBay. You only have the 10% fee. The others you mentioned have to resell so you will get half the value.
I have the Sigma MC-11 adapter for a Canon 70-200 f4 and my Sony a7iii and a6300. The MC-11 works reliably; autofocus is very good.
