I don't need one of these. I have one of these. It takes fantastic video. (I'm plugging this for you.) It's light years better than a phone because of the optical zoom. Lots of cameras these days can take video, but ergonomically, I find this easier to hold and steady and control than my cameras when shooting video, and the supplied battery can go for about an hour without a recharge.

Light and ergonomic. You nailed that. And the video is indeed fantastic. Thanks for the endorsement.

Incidentally, the training video we used this for ran about 30 minutes. The camera is practically unused.

Yep, I have a nice Sony Handycam too. Great little video camera. Mine has 60X optical zoom and built in LED light.
The OP has a really nice price on an almost new camera. If I didn't already have one, I would buy it.

I can't stress the ergonomics enough. The strap on the right secures the camera to your hand. You can start and stop the recording with your thumb using a real button. You can zoom with your index finger using a real toggle control. You can capture stills with the same index finger using a real button. It's all right there. There are many settings that you don't see on a phone. You can shoot full HD at 60 fps. I've shot video on several vacations using one of these and much prefer it to a phone or my 10 times heavier DSLR. It also has a tripod socket.
