I shot both Raw and JPEG, separate discs. Disc 1 showed no new images. Disc 2 had both Raw and JPEG images. Any ideas of what I should look for.
I just received my 750 camera yesterday, but from what I can see you need to check your menu choices. The second slot can be used as a duplicate, or overflow. I'm still trying to figure out some of these things too!
What to look for? Your manual and the instructions for how to write specific file types to each card number.
Go to the cameras' Photo Shooting Menu - Select 'Role played by card in Slot 2.' Select the third option, "RAW Slot 1 - JPEG Slot 2.
In this selection RAW will go to slot 1 and JPG to slot 2.
Be sure you have selected the next item down in the Photo Shooting Menu - Image Quality and be sure you have selected RAW + JPG, using which every image quality you want for the JPG images.

In fairness to new 750 users, the manual on this topic is somewhat vague. I'm a 750 user since 2015 and I just now attempted to find where in the manual it talked about which slot does what, (page 119) and while there were some references, they were not very useful for answering this question. Certainly not as good as what you find shown on the camera's menu screen.
I am, however, a strong believer that users need to make better use of their equipment's manuals before asking folks on the forum to find the answer for them. There are exceptions, and wnagel's question is one of those exceptions - IMO.
Thanks for all of your replies. I have been using the 750 for several years. This is the first time this happened. I use slot 1 for Raw, slot 2 JPEG. Nothing recorded on Slot 1. Both Raw and JPEG recorded simultaneously on Slot 2.
Discs have always worked fine.
You may have performed this step can not tell from your post. Put different card in slot 1 take photos, then you will know if camera problem or card problem. Then I would format card you have used in 1 and try again if a different card worked.

The last time I used "disks" was when I got my Sony Mavica circa 1980.
