I am returning to photography after a break of several years. I have been looking for a magazine called digital photo which I used to enjoy reading but I cannot find it on the web. Could anybody please tell me whether or not this magazine still exists. Thank you.

The magazine, Digital Photo, stopped publication many months back. It was absorbed into Practical Photography Magazine.

Thank you. That fits because when I try to access “ Digital Photo” I always get “Practical Photography.”

Hi John, no sad to say this magazine was discontinued some time ago, in favour of it's sister magazine Practical photography, which in my humble opinion is not as good. I was a regular reader of Digital Photo as I particularly enjoyed the Photoshop lessons which you could follow with the enclosed DVD. Practical photography has a limited Photoshop section on the DVD, but again in my opinion not as good. Hope this helps.

Hi John, There is a very good magazine available online and I just ordered it. The magazine is called Creative Photographer Magazine. If you sign up on the web page they may send you a discount unless it is already on sale. You pay for a yr. but get a lot of issues to download or read.

Thank you very much for your reply Peter. My past experience with digital photo was exactly the same as yours and I much preferred it to patio photography however we have to live with a change thank you bye-bye
