Mrazek Pond in Everglades National Park is the current location to see many of the park's birds roosting and feeding. An unusual sight was white pelicans swimming out together in a circle that I can only describe as what looked like a parade. They gracefully moved out from the shore and then back within a couple of minutes before soon taking to the air. While shooting, a park official stopped and stated this was a rare event.
You can see in the photos a collection of egrets in the background (great and snowy) and a couple of Anhingas in the first photo.

I have seen something like this at a reservoir in central Nebraska. A neat thing to see and photograph. Thanks for sharing.
That is a parade. Thanks for sharing.
White pelicans often will group like this. Nice set.
There must be some good fishin' in that pond. Very nice pix.
Looks like a huge family gathering and celebration.
They work together to trap the fish.
