I lost Picasa when I downloaded the latest Mac update. Well I tried several different photo editing programs and none give me the editing tools Picasa afforded me. I went to a place in Nanuet NY Computuners and they did the trick they deleted the newest update and brought my Macbook back to 32 bit and got Picasa back for me. I use it to maintain my website at "woodywud.smugmug.com". I highly recommend them. They
very coast effective and if I have any problems they can with remote support fix some stuff

I may buy a laptop this year which would come with the latest system update (and also make Picasa unusable). Picasa has been the first step in my workflow for years, particularly its easy download from camera and image tilt).
When you were trying other editing tools, did any come close to what you need?
I had Picasa several years ago and lost it when I upgraded to Windows 10. I did find it again but everytime I opened it it automatically ingested, downloaded, and imported every single photo of every type and kind on my computer even advertisement photos from websites I may have visited. I couldn't figure out how to make it import only the photos I wanted imported so do not use it anymore. If anyone can tell me how to stop the automatic import, please do so. I find it frustrating.
I brought my Macbook pro to Computurners in Nyack NY and they deleted the 64 bit update and brought my laptop back to 32 bit and reloaded Picasa for me. I use it to maintain my website at "woodywud.smugmug.com"
Stopped using it when I could no longer send images directly from Picasa. Am I missing something, or has that function now been disabled?
I have no problem the way it is now. What I do is Export to a thumb drive and from there I can send anywhere

I rarely use Picasa. I use Faststone, which I find is a much better free system
