A couple of breakdowns in Ireland, 1954, 1957. Perhaps this raises a question whether rural roads are fair game for "Street" photography - all samples I have seen have been in urban environments.
Buildings are, IMNSHO, "street" when the image conveys the character of the "street" rather than the "glory" of the architecture. IOW it's all about the neighborhood environs and not about what designer and builders can accomplish.
Another personless street genre involves "street art". Thaz one of my faves. The "art" might be just as intended by it's author, or the "art" can be the work of time and the elements upon "art" that was never originally intended to be a "work of art" when it was first produced.
Such pix are often broad views, not the close focus and tight cropping of "fine photography", so it's a good idea to view the Download so as to dig into all the miscellaneous stuff crowded into the frame ;-)
Buildings are people too ! br br Buildings ... (show quote)
