My wife & I will be going on a 5-day cruise in a few weeks. I will be taking one of my Nikon cameras (probably a D750), and a couple of lenses. I would like to have insurance to cover them in case of any mishap. Do any of you have a recommendation for an insurance company for this?

Contact your homeowners insurance company for a rider.
Never mind. I just realized that my PPA membership includes $15,000 worldwide coverage, so I won't need any additional coverage.
I took mine to Iceland, didn't worry about it at all.
Canada neither.
I just go and shoot.

My wife & I went to Switzerland and I had a 2 day stint in a hospital.
2 - days came to $13,000. Our travel insurance covered it all 100%.

The PPA coverage that comes with your membership is quite limited. Look at the fine print and consider adding additional coverage if you expect 100% replacement cost in case of theft.

I'm not sure what lenses the OP would take, but insurance to cover loss of a D750 doesn't seem "worth the bother" - a D850 would be different.

I have mine through my home owners policy. I supply the item, serial number, and cost to replace. I also keep original sales receipts.
I have mine thru my homeowners insurance. $59 year , no deductible, 100% theft, damage full coverage.

"replacement cost"
Key words when looking at any kind of insurance. Make sure it's not value insurance.
I have my insurance with State Farm. My gear is covered by a personal property policy, very modest price for amateurs. Covers repair, replacement, no deductible, no depreciation. Most insurance carriers have something like that. And no, it’s not a rider on your homeowner's policy. It's a separate policy.

Charles - which travel insurance did you have? I’ve always purchased AIG’s Travel Guard, and fortunately, have never needed it. Your story is exactly why I purchase for each trip...
Most homeowners carriers offer special riders for expensive things like jewelry and cameras. I have such a policy ($38/yr with USAA).
Be sure the PPA has what it needs (description, S/N etc.)
